1. Scope and Legal Basis
This Privacy Policy applies to the QuickCount mobile application and all supporting services we provide. QuickCount complies with applicable data protection laws and regulations, and where necessary, refers to international best practices to protect your rights.
2. Types of Data Collected
2.1 Data Directly Collected by QuickCount
QuickCount uses a private key authentication mechanism and does not collect any personally identifiable information. Specifically:
- Private Key Authentication: The application generates an encrypted private key locally on your device for identity authentication. The private key is stored only in your device's local secure storage. We do not collect, store, or transmit your phone number, email, or any personal contact information.
- Business Data: Survey content you create, question banks, survey response records. This data is stored anonymously and cannot be linked to a specific individual identity.
- Device Identifiers: To ensure service security, we collect anonymized device identifiers that cannot be used to identify your real identity.
- Log Data: Function call records, AI analysis task logs, points transactions, exception events, used only for system auditing and troubleshooting, and do not contain personal identity information.
2.2 Data Collected by Third-Party Services
QuickCount integrates third-party services to provide advertising and analytics functionality. These third parties may independently collect data:
- Google AdMob (Advertising Service): Used to display rewarded ads, may collect device information, advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID), IP addresses, etc. See Google Privacy Policy.
- Other Third-Party SDKs: Third-party service providers we use may collect and process data according to their own privacy policies. The data collection practices of these third parties are not controlled by QuickCount, and the relevant responsibility is borne by the third-party service providers.
Important Notice: You can disable ad tracking in your device system settings or opt out of personalized ads in QuickCount settings.
3. Purposes of Data Use
- Provide Core Services: Generate surveys, perform AI analysis, data storage and display, points management.
- System Maintenance: Detect abnormal usage, prevent fraudulent activities, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance.
- Product Improvement: Improve algorithms and user experience through anonymized data analysis.
- Ad Display: Provide rewarded ads through third-party advertising services, allowing users to earn points by watching ads.
4. Data Security and Storage
QuickCount takes the following measures to protect data security:
- Encrypted Transmission: All data transmission uses TLS 1.3 encryption protocol.
- Encrypted Storage: Static data is stored using AES-256 encryption algorithm.
- Data Hosting: Data is stored in cloud data centers provided by Supabase (located in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region). Supabase complies with international data security standards.
- Anonymization: All business data is stored anonymously and not linked to personal identity information.
Data Retention: We retain data as needed for business purposes. Users can delete all associated data at any time through the "Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete Account" function in the app. Deletion will be completed within 30 days unless legally required to retain.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
- Service Providers: We use third-party services such as Supabase (database hosting) and Google AdMob (advertising services). These service providers access data only to the extent necessary to provide services and are contractually bound to protect data security. The data processing practices of third-party service providers are governed by their own privacy policies, and the relevant responsibility is borne by the third parties.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose necessary data when legally required or upon lawful government request.
- No Data Sales: QuickCount does not sell, rent, or trade user data.
6. Your Rights
- Access Rights: You can view the surveys and related data you created in the app.
- Export Rights: You can export your survey and analysis data by yourself through "Settings → Data Management → Export Data" function. Since QuickCount uses an anonymous authentication mechanism, we cannot verify the identity of export requests made through other channels (such as customer service emails), so only in-app self-service exports are supported.
- Deletion Rights: You can permanently delete all data through "Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete Account" function. Deletion is irreversible, so please proceed with caution.
- Ad Control: You can opt out of personalized ads in device system settings or within the app.
7. Protection of Minors
QuickCount does not actively provide services to minors under 18 years of age. If minors use this application, it should be under the guidance and consent of their guardians.
8. Third-Party Service Disclaimer
Important Statement: Third-party services integrated into QuickCount (including but not limited to Google AdMob, Supabase, etc.) are independently operated by third parties. The data collection, processing, and storage practices of these third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms of service, and are not controlled by QuickCount. For any data security issues, privacy breaches, or other losses caused by third-party services, the responsibility is borne by the relevant third-party service providers, and QuickCount assumes no liability. We recommend that you carefully read the privacy policies of third-party services before using them.
9. Security Incident Response
In the event of a data security incident, we will make every effort to take remedial measures and notify affected users within a reasonable scope. However, given the complexity of network security, we are not responsible for data loss caused by force majeure, third-party service failures, network attacks, or user errors.
10. Policy Changes
We may update this policy based on legal requirements or business adjustments. Significant changes will be notified in advance through in-app notifications or official website announcements. Continued use of the service indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
11. Dispute Resolution and Applicable Law
The formation, effectiveness, interpretation, performance and dispute resolution of this Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. For any disputes arising from this Privacy Policy, both parties shall first seek to resolve them through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party has the right to file a lawsuit with a court of competent jurisdiction in the Macao Special Administrative Region.
